Day 3!

Today took us to Sioux Falls, which at over 156,000 people, is the largest city in South Dakota.  Our day was filled with sight seeing and conversation.  The students are becoming more and more comfortable with the English language, and they are expressing themselves very well.  We took in all that makes Sioux Falls a fun city.

Our first stop was the Great Plains Zoo, where we banged on the gong all day:

Which one is the gorilla?  Which one is Ririko?

We then went to Falls Park and saw The Falls:

Here are Natsumi, Yume, and Kanako in front of the falls:

  1. Hello everyone!
I want to write and send a big "thank you" to each and every one of the visiting Tamagawa students, Melinda Obach, the English teacher, and Jacy and Amber at the DSU International Educational Program. Your individual personalities and gracious manners are inspiring. I feel honored to spend this time with you.
Plus, one more week of education, conversation, adventure, and fun!
    With regards,
    Amy Woolston, co-teacher
